I returned to German Car Depot after having service at the dealer and receiving a long list of repairs totaling several thousand dollars. I called Eddie, and he had a mechanic, Milton, inspect the car. Only two repairs were necessary and the cost was significantly less than the quote from the dealer. Everything was fully explained to me so that I was comfortable, and no one is more accommodating and helpful than Eddie. I will be returning to German Car Depot for all service and repairs.

This place is a hidden gem for a mechanic shop. From start to finish the experience was great. . Richey checked me in and assigned Milton to my car. He was able to diagnose it , explained everything to me, and gave an estimate for the work. It was serviced for maintenance , got new brakes, and all that goes along with it. Before the shop closed at 5pm, my car was ready to rock and roll out, stress free! The car drives nice a smooth. No complaints! What a relief to find a mechanic shop that is professional , organized, courteous, and has integrity in workmanship. Thank you Richey, Milton, and Steve for an over all peaceful experience.

Since purchasing a 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan two years ago for my daughter, I have taken the car to several garages for service. The car had 152,000 miles on it at the time of purchase and it cost me $4500. I knew it would need a complete overhaul to get it running well for a few more years to permit my daughter to get her driving experience and take her to college. But each mechanic gave little feedback, explaining only what they had done and repaired. The Volkswagen Tiguan worked, but after every trip, oil leaked on pavement and the smell of hot oil lingered. Recently we noticed the breaks needed service and we wanted to find a new garage that would also address the other issues such as oil leaks and the smell of oil fumes lingering after driving the car. None of the other garages/mechanics had attempted to fix this. Then we found German Car Depot online and decided to bring the Tiguan to them. After listening to our concerns, Eddie suggested a complete inspection be done. A full detailed report was given to us, prioritizing each issue and its price. The breaks were replaced first. Then in order of priority, each part and labor fee was completely itemized separately, and German Car Depot tackled one job at a time as per our consent until we were able to fix all oil leaks. We were kept informed with pictures of all repairs being made. Pictures of the damaged parts were taken and sent to us. If we consented to proceed, pictures of the new parts were shared as well. We could compare the damaged parts with the new parts. Our engine looks brand new. No oil leaks whatsoever. The staff and mechanics at German Car Depot took the time to fully diagnose and put in the vast amount of quality work our car needed to be at its best. I will highly recommend them to others and continue using their service to maintain my car.
