How to get to our Hollywood shop from your town
Almost every drive to 2130 Fillmore Street ends on one of four short approaches, described once below. Find your town to see which one it uses. Times are “about” figures with no traffic; for your exact trip, use your own address in a map app.
Four ways into our block on Fillmore Street
Our shop is on Fillmore Street just west of North Dixie Highway, between I-95 and US 1. The last mile or two is one of these:
- I-95 northbound: Hollywood Boulevard exit, east, north on North 28th Avenue, then east on Fillmore Street.
- I-95 southbound: Sheridan Street exit, east, south on North Dixie Highway, then right onto Fillmore Street.
- US 1 northbound: west on Monroe Street, north on 21st Avenue, then left onto Fillmore Street.
- East on Pines and Hollywood Boulevards (SR 820): past I-95, north on North 28th Avenue, then east on Fillmore Street.
Hollywood and the beach
Our shop is in Hollywood’s North Central neighborhood, according to the city’s own neighborhood map. The shortest landmark route on this page starts at ArtsPark at Young Circle, the city’s downtown park, and covers 1.0 mile in about 3 minutes. Go west on Tyler Street, then north on North 21st Avenue to Fillmore Street, with no highway at all.
Hollywood Beach takes a little longer. Starting from the Hollywood Beach Culture & Community Center, 1301 South Ocean Drive, follow South Ocean Drive (A1A) to Hollywood Boulevard west. Then take Tyler Street and North 21st Avenue, about 2.9 miles and about 8 minutes in all. West of I-95, Hollywood Boulevard is the SR 820 approach described above.
Miramar and Pembroke Pines (Pembroke Road, or east on Pines and Hollywood Boulevards)
Miramar is about 20 minutes and 10.5 miles from our shop. From the Ansin Sports Complex, 10801 Miramar Boulevard, take Pembroke Road east for about 7 miles to I-95 north and the Hollywood Boulevard exit. Miramar city hall takes about as long by Miramar Parkway and Hallandale Beach Boulevard.
In Pembroke Pines, Pines Boulevard becomes Hollywood Boulevard (SR 820) and carries drivers to North 28th Avenue, about 20 minutes and 9.6 miles from the city center. Pembroke Lakes Mall, at Flamingo Road, sits on that same road. The Town Gate area in the west of the city uses Sheridan Street instead. From Towngate Park, take NW 12th Street and NW 160th Avenue to Sheridan Street east, about 16 miles and about 30 minutes in all.
Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, North Miami Beach and Golden Beach (US 1 and the William Lehman Causeway)
Aventura Mall, 19501 Biscayne Boulevard, is about 10 minutes and 5.1 miles away by US 1, with no I-95 at all. Some map listings print the mall’s city as Miami, so enter Aventura, FL 33180.
Sunny Isles Beach is about 15 minutes and 7.2 miles away. From Heritage Park, 19200 Collins Avenue, cross the William Lehman Causeway (SR 856) west to US 1. Golden Beach Town Hall, 100 Ocean Boulevard, is a short stretch of A1A from that causeway, about 15 minutes and 6.5 miles out.
North Miami Beach City Hall and the Julius Littman Performing Arts Theater share one address, 17011 NE 19th Avenue. From there, NE 19th Avenue and Ives Dairy Road lead to I-95 north, about 15 minutes and 7.1 miles. Highland Village drivers keep to US 1, about 20 minutes.
Hallandale Beach, Dania Beach, West Park and Pembroke Park (the closest drives)
Hallandale Beach city hall is about 5 minutes and 2.6 miles south, by NE 1st Avenue and 21st Avenue. From North City Beach Park, 111 S Surf Rd, take East Hallandale Beach Boulevard west to US 1 north, about 10 minutes.
Dania Beach is about 5 to 10 minutes and 2.8 miles north, by US 1 and Dixie Highway. From Dania Pointe, beside I-95 at Stirling Road, take Stirling Road and Phippen-Waiters Road to Dixie Highway south.
West Park and Pembroke Park are each about 10 minutes and 5.0 miles southwest, by I-95 north. West Park City Hall, 1965 S State Road 7, takes Pembroke Road east to I-95; Pembroke Park Town Hall, 3150 SW 52nd Avenue, takes West Hallandale Beach Boulevard.
Fort Lauderdale (US 1 south)
Downtown Fort Lauderdale, at Las Olas Boulevard, is about 15 minutes and 7.9 miles north, mostly on US 1 (Federal Highway) south. It finishes on Dixie Highway, like the Sheridan Street exit. From Virginia Young Park in the Rio Vista neighborhood, SE 12th Street leads to the same US 1 run, about 15 minutes. Galleria Fort Lauderdale, 2414 East Sunrise Boulevard, takes Sunrise Boulevard west to US 1, about 20 minutes. See also our Fort Lauderdale page.
Davie, Cooper City and Southwest Ranches (Griffin Road and Sheridan Street)
Davie is about 15 minutes and 9.4 miles away by Griffin Road and I-95 south to the Sheridan Street exit. Nova Southeastern University uses South University Drive and I-595 east instead, about 20 minutes. Southwest Ranches is about 30 minutes and 16.0 miles out. From Southwest Meadows Sanctuary and Preserve, 16290 Griffin Road, Griffin Road runs 12.5 miles east before I-95.
Cooper City needs no interstate, because Sheridan Street runs straight east from Brian Piccolo Park, 9501 Sheridan Street, to North Dixie Highway. The city is about 20 minutes and 10.6 miles away, and the park about 15 minutes.
Plantation and Weston (Broward Boulevard, I-595 and I-95 south)
Both cities finish on I-95 south and the Sheridan Street exit. Plantation is about 25 minutes and 13.4 miles away, joining I-95 from Broward Boulevard. Broward Mall, 8000 W Broward Blvd, uses University Drive to I-595 east. In Plantation Acres, Tara Park drivers take Tara Drive and Hiatus Road to I-595. Weston is the longest trip on this page, about 40 minutes and 23.9 miles. From Weston Regional Park, 20200 Saddle Club Road, follow Saddle Club Road and Indian Trace to I-75, then I-595 east.
Miami Beach, Bal Harbour and Surfside (Collins Avenue and the causeways)
Miami Beach is about 30 to 35 minutes and 13 to 23 miles away, depending on where you start. North Beach, Surfside and Bal Harbour all head north on Collins Avenue (A1A) to the William Lehman Causeway, then US 1 north. From the North Beach Bandshell, 7275 Collins Avenue, that takes about 30 minutes. Mid-Beach and South Beach take the Julia Tuttle Causeway (I-195) to I-95 north instead, about 35 minutes from the Miami Beach Convention Center. From the southern tip of South Beach, the MacArthur Causeway (I-395) is quicker.
Bal Harbour Shops, 9700 Collins Avenue, and Surfside Community Center, 9301 Collins Avenue, are each about 25 minutes away, 4.4 and 4.8 miles south of the causeway.
North Miami and Miami Shores (I-95 north)
Most of these trips end at the I-95 Hollywood Boulevard exit. North Miami is about 20 minutes and 10.3 miles away, partly on NE 6th Avenue and partly on I-95. From the Florida International University Biscayne Bay Campus, NE 151st Street leads to US 1 north instead, about 15 minutes. Miami Shores is about 20 minutes and 13.7 miles out; from Barry University, take NE 2nd Avenue and NE 125th Street west to I-95 north. In Miami, Legion Memorial Park, 6447 NE 7th Avenue, reaches I-95 by NE 62nd Street and NW 62nd Street, about 25 minutes.
