My VW CC was misfiring and they tested different components and concluded that the the compentents were not defective. They didn’t advise on unnecessary repairs and maintence which I respect as I know if I had gone back to the dealership, I would have had a much higher bill. German Car Depot was fair and honest. Next time my car has an issue or just regular maintence, I’ll be bringing my car back.

The Staff if absolutely fantastic. I have used them for several years now first with my Passat and now with my Jetta. I highly recommend them to service your German vehicles.

The owner takes charge and makes every attempt to resolve issues.

PATRIC when you called me it sounded like it was not your turbo. We have had the same issue with many cars that people thought they in the turbo but the clip that holds the actuator on the wastegate that cost less than a dollar fixes the problem. I always try to give my customer’s the best value for the dollar nothing was done intentionally to try to get you in, only talk to you on the phone to try to help you not hurt you. I’m sorry for the confusion but when you called me I did have somebody check to see if we had the turbo and then I called you back and said yes we have it unfortunately that turbo looks just like an Tfsi turbo which comes in a GTI and intern it was for a earlier FSI. Although your car does have over 216,000 miles on your 2011 VW GTI, It looks very well-maintained and as you stated you changed your oil every 10,000 miles and your CARFAX confirmed that. When my technician drove of it you could hear the arm that hooks to waste gate to the actuator was rattling. So we installed one once your car going to cooled down. I did indeed had a used turbo two days before that would fit your car. I can understand you would not want to spend over $2500 for a brand new turbo on a car that has 200.000 miles. It was my fault for telling you that we did have the turbo in stock I was not aware that somebody else had used it. If you did speak to one of my service advisors and they said you needed a new turbo there’s no way if I was there I would’ve let that happened I can source a used Turbo for you for much less even though I don’t have it myself. The guys at German Car Depot provided the most pleasant and efficient experience possible for me in a pinch. My car started making a loud screaming noise while driving on 95 to Miami. I had no idea where to bring it since I do not live in the Hollywood area. I found them on Yelp and saw the high ratings and took my chances. I do not regret it at all and plan to continue bringing my car there in the future even with the long drive. They were communicative, fair, and even let me keep my car there for a week while I was down in Miami. Customer service is their forte and my car is running beautifully now. I am very happy with the price I paid and would send friends and family here in a heartbeat.

Eddie did an excellent job servicing my vehicle at a very reasonable price compared to the dealer. I will definitely do my future service and repairs at German Car Depot.

Thank you for the kind words. You keep your 2010 BMW in perfect shape. Your car shows that 100,00 miles that is nothing for a well kept BMW like yours. Thank You for your support. Ollie
