Your vehicle will be repaired to factory specifications using only OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts. If your car is totaled, we have a data base of local car prices to show the true value of your vehicle and always at a more generous dollar amount than an insurance companies initial offer. See if anybody is hurt, call the police if needed, do not move anyone. They could be in shock and feel fine now but might be seriously injured and not know it. 2. Look for witnesses. Get as many names and phone numbers as you can from witnesses. 3. Get insurance information, driver's licenses numbers, auto tag numbers and the names of everyone in the cars. Do not discuss or speculate about the accident with anyone. 4. Do not admit fault. Even if you are to blame, say nothing! 5. Have your car towed to GERMAN CAR DEPOT anytime 24 hrs. a day. If the towing company is not willing to bring your car to German Car Depot, we will pick up your vehicle from their tow yard and bring it to our facility the next day, usually at no charge to the customer. After an accident, many insurance companies will recommend the damage be repaired at one of their preferred auto body shops. Choosing a preferred shop may expedite the repair process but it will also guarantee that any deductible will come from your pocket. Insurance companies are notorious for trying to save money on repair costs and may insist their preferred auto body shops take short cuts on repairing your vehicle or use lower cost aftermarket (non-original equipment) body parts.
